The Legend of Zelda Game for BlackBerry

It’s been a while since I published content here so to kick things off again, I’m letting you guys know about a famous game which I’m sure you’ve played before (though not on blackberry). The title is a big giveaway but here goes – it’s Zelda. It’s not the normal Legend of Zelda storyline that you’re acustom to but it’s the same gameplay. This is the last game that you’ll expect on a blackberry smartphone (do note, I’ve only tested it out on my blackberry torch smartphone).

At the beginning of the game, you might find yourself stuck at one point during the gameplay. I’m not going to spoil anything here for you however if you wish to contact me to bypass this, you can always start a thread at my smartphone forum and I’ll quickly post up an answer.

The app itself is called Simulator Meboy. It’s an app for playing classic Nintendo games on your blackberry although at this point in time it’s only possible to play The Legend of Zelda. I’m looking forward to the addition of more games because I’m a Nintendo fan myself and I will not mind having the classic Nintendo games right on my blackberry (obviously, heh). Details are below if you’re interested in finding the app Via AppWorld.

Game Details :
  • App Name : Simulator Meboy
  • Size : 2 MB
  • Version : 1.0
  • Creator : Game VNS

On the blackberry torch 9800, the keyboard will be very helpful when playing the game. I can’t imagine playing such a game with my touchscreen (or maybe I can) but I’m not sure if it’s possible with the 9800 and this version of the app. I’m not sure if the game’s music isn’t working or if it’s just my smartphone on mute although that doesn’t stop me from having a good time while playing.

Gameplay of The Legend of Zelda for BlackBerry

Some questions and answers about the app are below (I’ll add more along the way):

How to change button configurations?

While you’re in the game (The Legend of Zelda), press the menu key on your blackberry torch 9800 smartphone. Once the menu opens up, look for the words ‘set buttons’. Once you’ve found it, press it and you’ll open up another screen. There will be instructions for setting your buttons on the smartphone.

How can I get more games?

It’s up to the developers of the app to add more games. I’m not even 100% sure that they’re even thinking about developing additional games for the app but let’s hope and see. If anything, the current Legend of Zelda game can satisfy your needs.
